I am new to the literary world and trying to forge a path for myself and readers who like contemporary fiction and fast paced thrillers with diverse characters and storylines. I am a black author with international roots, Jamaican, Spanish, British, and Canadian. And, I am committed to bringing BIPOC characters into my stories in genuine and non-compromising ways that reflect them as Canadians, which for me, means included, equal, and real. I am a social worker by profession and occupied senior leadership roles for many years until I left the field to write full-time - a decision I have never regretted. My past experiences, and all that I am, have significantly influenced my stories, which I hope to share more of with you in the coming months and years.
