I am a painter, sculptor, cancer survivor, clown, quilter and a Nana-grandma! I am also a Zen Student with Oak Tree in the Garden in Toronto. At one time I was fortunate to take probationary vows with WWZC in Ottawa and to travel a bit with Ven. Shikai Zuiko O'sensei. Now I just sit zazen once daily. I try to write everyday using the Pomodoro method. As a result I have had a few stories published! I have joined several writers groups and finished a creative writing program at Humber College working with Canadian author Donna Morrissey. I guess that means I'm a writer too! My first book "The Frugal Chariots" became available on Amazon on Sept. 3, 2026.
