Media Law Course: BA Journalism Favorite book: 'What I Talk About When I Talk About Running' by Haruki Murakami. Although the book primarily discusses the authors interest in long-distance running, it also highlighted many of his experiences, insecurities, and doubts as a writer. Since reading it, it has greatly resonated with me and taught me to apply the concept of 'endurance' in all my work. Favorite Film: 'The Book of Life.' I grew a liking to this animated film as it features the Mexican Culture of 'The Day of The Dead' with its colorful and relatable characters as well as featured many of my favorite songs today. Favorite Media Practitioner: RJ Ledesma. He is a former column writer for Philstar, book author, and host. His pieces often focused on his life growing up and the people he's met. Moreover, his works have encouraged me to look beyond what I have and view them through a larger perspective. Favorite Song: The Way You Look Tonight' by Frank Sinatra. Growing up with my grandparents, they used to dance with me to this song every morning, which is why this song is something I hold dear to me. Favorite Meal: Lasagna since it's the first dish I learned to make on my own. Hobbies: Playing instruments (piano and drums), Sports (fencing and gymnastics), and Art (oil pastel and calligraphy)
